Vocal Waves is a dynamic, non-auditioned, community choir for adults led by their Founding Artistic Director, Antony Zambolt, and based on-campus at St Hilda’s.

Formed in 2018 as HOTA Choir, Vocal Waves rebranded in 2021 and continues to grow and expand with its vibrant and passionate membership. Utilising choral singing as a force for positivity, Vocal Waves attracts a diverse membership from across the Gold Coast. Our choristers appreciate the opportunities for creative engagement, mental stimulation, and positive human connections made possible in a safe and supportive environment.

Vocal Waves engage in a wide variety of contemporary and traditional repertoire in SSAAB format and participate regularly in community events and standalone concerts.

Membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 in the St Hilda’s and wider community - including parents, staff and Old Girls.

Rehearsals are Monday nights during school term – 6.00pm to 8.00pm | Bev Philben Room.
